Dreaded topic… cruise food and weight gain.
Confession: C & I are not exercisers. On our first cruise, we said we were going to go to the gym… we went to a yoga class and then never set foot again. This cruise, we didn’t even go find the gym.
However, I know we also eat a lot. It’s just hard not too. So, I challenged C to a Yes.Fit challenge. Haven’t heard of Yes.fit before? It’s a virtual race website/app/facebook support group for runners, walkers, and those who are trying. There is no pressure, but there are many features to help you push yourself as well as an amazingly support group of people. You can sign choose a reward of a T-shirt or medal.
We chose the Sherlock Holmes race of 22 miles. We felt completing 22 miles over the 4 day cruise was doable for us. Our fitbits are connected, so even when we had no internet it was keeping track.
We encouraged each other to take the stairs or the long way by reminding of this race. To our pleasant surprise when we connected to wifi back in Miami, we finished the race and than some! Now we are waiting on our medal ??
Interested in trying Yes.fit for your next cruise?
If you’re new to Yes.Fit, use the Promo Code oBrCIOlK during check-out, and you get a discount and I get a gift card! This is win-win for us.
